500 Club Roll Honour
The 500 Club originated in 2011 from an initiative devised by the then President, Mr Jon Obank, with the first awards made in 2012.
The scheme recognises and rewards the long term efforts of our members over the years, and is a means of identifying those members who have excelled through either their practical efforts and skills, or their work on committee or other official positions.
It is also designed to serve as a goal for the more junior members of the club, and help to identify the senior members who have already done the club a great service, but may now not be as active, or in the spotlight as much as in years gone by.
Points are awarded for numerous activities, including attending meetings and working parties, managing waters and Committee membership.
Once attained, which is by design a difficult goal, and expected to take at least 10 Years, members are awarded a 500 club pin.
Current Members standings can be found in the latest membership book.
